This is a survey course in US History from early exploration through the 20th century. We trace the early settlements and the growth of the colonies through the American Revolution. We study the Constitution, the differences among the diverse regions, leading to the Civil War and Reconstruction. We conclude with the study of the 20th century which will include World War I, The Roaring Twenties, The Great Depression, World War II, The Cold War, and The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s.
